whos watching developments on this new decision by Italian supreme courts to retry her?

I find this fascinating, my understanding is this would qualify as "double Jeopardy" in the US. Do the Italians have a similar provision? Does not seem like it

Would the fact that she is in Seattle and would have to be extradited to an extradition treaty country, yet under our own laws we'd be extraditing her into a doubly jeopardy situation mean there might be a court case in the US between Italy and the Knox family?
