There should be a link to AMGs website on the main MBUSA page. If not try http://www.mercedes-benz.com/amg/ They have contact info. As of a while ago I think there stopped being independent AMG outlets and now the MB dealers take care of it all. You can get AMG parts from your MB dealer. I am also certain that an MB sales rep should be able to dig up any info you need on the CLK55. Are you in North America, or Europe? You mentioned you wanted info on the european AMGs. If there is much of a difference you might check http://www.mercedesbenz.com for the worldwide site. There should be someone there to contact for the info you want.

I've had no success going through the MBUSA website, or even the MB Worldwide website.
If you have specific technical questions about parts and such, try contacting Eddy Lai at Performance Motor Group in Vancouver. They specialize in AMG parts and modifications. Website: http://www.performances.com E-mail: info@performances.com |

brian and 420, thanks for the info. i have run into the same issues with AMG access as you, brian. the dealer does not have any info and they say that they can not refer me somewhere for this info. i have heard that, especially in regards to the euro parts, the US is not privy to that information. one of the main questions i have is, are the US and euro CLK55s identical? if not what are the differences?? how would i, in the US, go about getting parts shipped to the US, assuming that the US dealers will continue to be uncooperative? how can i obtain an AMG parts catalog/order forms/price list?? i have read that H and R has a spring available for the CLK55, which i suspect is the euro spring. what? H and R makes AMG springs?? according to the H and R rep i spoke with @ this years SEMA, the answer is yes, which doesnt surprise me. thanks again..

I think the U.S. and Euro CLK55 are _nearly_ identical. My guess is that the only difference between the Euro and U.S. springs is the spring pads, but that's just a guess.
There was a guy on the MBWorld E-class forum that had his E55 fitted with springs from a Euro E55. You might want to go over to that forum and ask for a contact at the shop that did the work. They obviously had the info and the resources to get the parts. http://www.mbworld.org/forum/w210/board/home.html Brian |
