I intend to replace my OEM fuel injectors with perhaps some aftermarket "performance" fuel injectors in my 1983 W126 (280SEL). However, I have scant knowledge of fuel injectors, especially in the aspect of performance enhancing.

Do you think it is worth the buck? Or are they really beneficial?

Mervyn

Doc,

shouldn't that be a 'NOT' as in:

PURE hype as these injectors can NOT flow enough fuel to make a 500SEL run rich!!

Don't bother, they will disappoint you. Instead, consider having your injectors, or a new set of stock injectors, flow tested, balanced and matched. When you have a new set of matched injectors there will be a difference in performance you can feel and they will be the right ones for your engine.
