Anyone got a y-pipe on a w124 with pics?

Hey guys, I was thinking about changing the exhaust on my 92 w124 up a bit...and I was thinking how cool it would look if I routed the exhaust to two chrome straight tips, one on either side of my car. Nothing big and ricey, just so that its noticible. I was wondering if anyone else had done this and had some pics to show? I wanna know how it would look before I lay down money... thanks!

Thanks for the mention, John.

Badinfo, I can tell you that the Timevalve Y-pipe was a super clean installation - bolted right up without any fussing. The resulting sound is deeper and slightly louder at idle, but really honks at wide-open-throttle!

And thats a good thing

I think Badinfo means a split dual exhaust like the one pictured above. I too am very interested to know if this can be done to a 124 I would like to put a split dual exhaust on my E420. I would like mine to look just like the one on the S-class (S55).
The y pipe is cool also I have thought about doing that as well.

Subman

Oh sorry for the pic being so big I just found it realy quickly.

I think Donald Swinford has done this. Do a search of his posts, you might find it.

Hey guys, yea I was talking about getting dual chrome exhaust like on the S55 ;-) I mentioned a y-pipe because I thought you would need one in order to take a singular exhaust pipe and then break it into two pipes, but then I noticed that I have 2 sets of headers coming out of the engine, and I guess that they are combined somewhere downengine...
