i have the same problem with my 1989 190D. SRS...

i have the same problem with my 1989 190D. SRS light comes on and AC goes off. I am 100 % sure if i find a wiring diagram i can fix it but havenot found one yet.

if you are talking about just removing the valve...

if you are talking about just removing the valve body fromt the tranny and put it back on. then yes its not too hard. its only 8-10 bolts. the only thing you will have to be carefull about it there...

i took it out with some wd40 and some more beating. i did damage the prechamber seat. i can see the cut. i put a new seal and its not leaking between the prechamber and injector....

Update

I pulled the injector and replaced the heat shield from cylinder one. Did not stop leaking. Then i ordered the prechamber ring socket. It came all the way from Germany to canada , took 1 week. Today...
