The cylinder wall is not rusted. it's just dirty from oil/brake cleaner mixture.
I'm just going to clean the block surface more using brake cleaner and solvents.

Haha. thanks. I did all those except changing power steering fluid. Apparently MBs have power steering filter? I will try to disconnect a hose on power steering reservoir and drain it from there....
