12 Volts from each wire

If I hold one lead on ground and the other lead on EITHER wire running to the monovale I get 12 volts.

Definitely not completing a circuit.

I think the push button unit is fried, shouldn't it...

I never heard of it or knew it existed until my hose started leaking. Its an option to heat your windshield wipers.

The hose that feeds the heater core has a T in it where a piece of 3/8 or so...

Is there in moving parts inside the rack dampener bolt? I'm just trying to figure out how it goes bad, why the brass one is better and why it cost $50 bucks. Thanks alot guys.
