Angry 1990 300SEL overheating

My 300sel is overheating. The resevoir empties but there is no fluid anywhere. Is it a thermostat that has gone bad? And where is the thermostat?

No it is not a belt squealing...it does not...

No it is not a belt squealing...it does not always do it either. Sometime the squeal is faint n sometimes it does not do it ... i still think it is a vacuum leak somewhere but the windshield seal...

1991 560 sel just had valve guides etc done , timiing chain, etc done at 250K
now when I first start her up here in cold climate it knocks like their is no oil for a few seconds..then quiets down...

Arrow 91 560 SEL con't question about rear suspension

I thought if the accumulators were bad the rear end would bounce... my car is stiff and does not bounce over tracks, etc. Rear struts are not leaking but I can't find if I have ever had them...

that was replaced but still having problems. It seems to stay on at 70mph better than at 65 or less.
