I have a 1998 C230. When I press the washer fluid switch to activate the spraying of fluid on to the windshield the fluid keeps spraying until I turn off the ignition switch .

S420 Differential Leak

The gasket around the differential is a bit wet. So I need to replace the gasket and then ofcourse I have to refill the differential.

So that's was the reason for the query.

I have the pan and gasket for the transmission in sight.

1. Where is the drain plug for the torque converter ?
2. When refilling the fluid does one have to use the same path to fill both parts...

I had to clean the connectors of my Aux Fan control unit and it now works fine.

Since I replaced the relay, temp. sending unit, fuse, etc., I guess everything...

The auxilliary fan on a 1996 S420 does not kick in.
At idle the engine temp rises to 120 degrees but when running the temp is 80 degrees.
