I should have taken a before picture it was pretty bad, the clear was cracked and chipped and the wood veneer was peeling pretty bad. Once I get it all the way done we shall see how it looks but...

I would say the new cars are safer with all the crumple zones and air bags if designed properly and not a tin can on wheels, but if you crash a newer caryou may as well figure on it being totaled...

I agree its doable but would take allot of work and time I think this is a better option they make motor mounts for XJs to put a 350 chevy in them the olds diesel ueses the same mounts as an olds 350...
