I'm fairly certain I installed them in the right direction I am getting 10 hg off the white nipple coming out of the power booster cable.

I know there are a lot of threads about rebuilding the early style vc but after looking around I can't find the piece of info I'm looking for. I rebuilt my vacuum and have had weak vacuum ever since....

By the way I have the compressor on the driver's side, not the york. What about the condenser and the hoses? Don't I at least need to plug the hoses, and how would I do that?
