The compressor DID NOT fail, no debris in oil, and the compressor has NEVER been serviced previously (17 years and 241K mi)

I've got it sorted out and working guys.

I matched the amount of oil that came out of the compressor (half oz) and added an additional 1/4 oz to compensate for oil still in the drain pan etc.
