Sorry, I missed your question when you posted it. I used the same product on my 85 380SE seats back in 2000,......still looks like new (I keep a can on the shelf for the occasional touch up.

Actually, I put back 3/4 oz in the compressor, and 1/2 oz in the drier.
The compressor DID NOT fail, no debris in oil, and the compressor has NEVER been serviced previously (17 years and 241K mi)

Got it back together and blowing cold.
I've got it sorted out and working guys.
I matched the amount of oil that came out of the compressor (half oz) and added an additional 1/4 oz to compensate for oil still in the drain pan etc.
