Any one out there ever switched their vehicle over from a column shifter to a center console shift (both for an automatic transmission)? Can it be done with a certain amount of ease? I have a '74...

Tried the belt conditioner. Had come to same conclusion about the air condition pulley trying to get in and loosen pulley it tight. I'll post when I see if that's the cause.
