LOL... my E500 already has one. Dreaming of a 6.0L conversion, though. Too many newer cars are almost as fast... the 6.0 would fully move it into exoticar territory. Just need a winning lottery...

Is this the type that screws in, same as unscrewing the old 1-pc knob? Or is it the type where you have to take apart the lower fork thingy to install the aftermarket shaft?

Sweet! Can you post a photo? I've been wondering where I could snag one of those! Any idea what the OE part number is and/or what exact models/years it came from? 1990 560SEL perhaps??
