thanks for the help guys got the 10mm tried...

got the 10mm tried to put it in there.... it's obviously the right size but it wont seat far enough down to get a good grip in there. if it were accessible i would bang...

size of allen bolts on starter

i am trying to remove my starter and do not have a metric allen wrench set to figure out the size i need to go buy.

does anyone know what size allen key goes in those two bolts?

1982 mereceds...
