It definitely backfires while going down a hill, but backfires a bit while holding it back on the straight roads as well.

Just for the record, the car has gotten significantly faster top end. I pulled with a E90 325i from 120kph till 190kph in 5th, and overtook him at 170. In 5th. :P

I would just like to say to everyone that the manual swap is complete! Gears are exactly like before, 1st=60, 2nd=100, 3rd=160, 4th=220. 5th gear is not overdrive, but I haven't had a chance to hit...

Was the Turbo Technics kit intercooled? We're installed quite a large intercooler on my car, I think that would definitely help cool the intake charge and give us more power.
