My E300D is suddenly sluggish

Hi all.

I have a 1995 Mercedes E300 diesel, normally aspirated. On my way to work this morning, I floored the accelerator in an attempt to merge with some traffic, but at around 3500 rpm, it felt like a giant hand was holding my car back. It usually revs freely up to around 4500 rpm before shifting up. As the car becomes hotter, it barely wants to rev above 3000 rpm.

I'm greatly concerned now, seeing as I've been running WVO for about a year now, on and off. Currently I'm running about 80% WVO to 20% diesel. Could it be fuel filters or something else?

Thanks in advance,

Bjoern
