Southeast PA Benzfest - Official Event Thread

Damn wish I could have went, the weather turned out better than expected. But I had to work, so not much I can do about that.

The first Southeast PA GTG was a success!! It lightly rained for a part of the time, but for the most part the weather was OK. The parking worked out great and made me realize that we could fit more next year.

Thanks for taking the time to come out everybody. I wish I'd spent more time talking with you all, but the grill needed to be run. I really enjoyed meeting you all and checking out your cars. My kids liked everyone, but my daughter especially took a liking to Mistress.

I'll definitely be doing this again next year. Any time any of you are in the area, please stop by. I'd love to hang out with any of you again.

Everyone's cars pulled into the driveway on their own power.

The Anthracite Grey 300D is RML's 39k mile gem. What a beautiful sedan. It really looks like a new vehicle.

Johnhef's AMG SEC sounded like a race car.

I didn't get a pic of Geoff's Euro wagon, so he has to come back. Tim will also have to come back since I didn't really get to check out his w124 wagon.

Erik and Mark both left some interesting beers for me to try. I tried Erik's "Radler" ... it's like a lemon beer and surprisingly refreshing and delicious.

I still need to try Mark's "Ozzy" beer.

I believe Erik said it's an Accord. It's in really great condition. I think he said it's a '91. Hard to believe it's 17 years old.

Looks like a great time was had by all who didn't puss out and braved the harsh elements. As expected! I'm looking forward to some more pics. Since I have to live vicariously through all of you.

The Buddy Walk was a little damp. They still ended up with over 800 walkers and while the final dollar numbers aren't in yet, the 50/50 raffle made $600 for the CT Down Syndrome Congress (it was $400 last year when we won it) so it was a success.
