How to use quotation feature?

How does one create quotes from prior messages in the thread?

I know how to cut & paste, then use the "wrap quote tags" button. BUT, what I am asking about is how to do it so that the quote automatically shows up with "Originally Posted by xxxx" preceding the quote.

(probably a really simple answer that I'll feel dumb for asking, but I have tried poking around quite a bit & can't figure it out.)

Thanks!

I scrolled to the bottom of your post and on the right was a "quote pill".

I clicked it.

...this happened:

However, there is another little box with quote marks right next to the "quote pill" that allow you to quote different sections of the post.

...but I'm kinda drawing a blank on how to use them accurately at the moment.

I clicked the top - multi quote "pill" - it turned red

I clicked the second - multi quote "pill" - it turned red

I then clicked the "quote pill" to say I was done quoting and I got the whole lot as shown above^^^^

It gives you spaces to type in between

OMG! I feel like an absolute moron! I was playing around in the "advanced reply" area and completely overlooked the obvious, in-your-face buttons in the thread itself. Ugh!

Thanks for the help everyone!
