Avatar and signature
Please consider a rule which would prohibit people from putting political statements or images in their avatars and signatures.
Every time I open a thread with a particular forum member and see their post I am presented with a political image. Imagine someone at work always wearing some political slogan on their shirt. I see it as an “in your face” tactic.

You can turn off signatures and avatars, that should take care of your problem.
Go to User control panel > edit options > thread display options uncheck the boxes for signatures and avatars |
