I opened a new thread almost a week ago. Somebody replied with some good info and asked me for more details. I attempted to post a reply and when I hit submit, was told that my reply was on hold pending approval from a moderator. That was Friday. Today is Wednesday and my reply still does not appear in the thread.


This reflects poorly on me, because it makes me appear unresponsive on my own thread. It's also frustrating because my issue is unresolved and there's nothing I can do about it short of going to a different forum.


Is this typical? What can a person do about it? I already PM'ed admin to apologised for double-posting before I realised why my reply didn't appear in the thread. I'm not sure what else I can do about it.

I was raised to believe sticks an stones may break my bones, but words could not harm me. Every public forum now everything moderated. Like a new world of sissies, I was raised not to be.
