1990 SL trim paint code
I have a 1990 300SL that is paint code 122 gray pearl on the upper body but I can't find a code # on the plate in front of the radiator to match up with any of the other colors #s in the book for the darker gray lower trim. Does anyone know where exactly this number should be on the code plate? The paint book that I have is for PPG 1992 MB colors so its possible that the lower panel color is not included in this book? Thanks, Craig

The paint code of the lower body panels is not written down on the tags of the car...the MB dealer can get the paintcode from their compu or you might want to look at the back of the panels...some panels DO have a sticker with the paintcode at the innerside (mostly on exchanged panels).
