Here's a different look; I have a 500SL cluster that I bought and rebuilt (clock, odo gears); it had (badly applied) faces that I re-applied (these seem to have been made of polycarbonate). But, I also painted the "rings" and needles red. The bezel is dip printed burl, which I like, and is in both my cars. One of my cars, I had the bezel rings vacuum plated (at shocking expense) chrome, and they look good chromed. I wish someone would make chrome bezel pieces for the W107. They are easy to find for the W126.
