560sl coil spring options
Looking for info on MB or other coil springs I might be able to use in lowering my 560. I would like to know where I might find spec's for the stock springs, height, width, spring rates and whatever to use in my search. I am not interested in cutting stock springs down a coil or playing around with the spring pads to gain a few mm's. Any help or guidance will be appreciated.

I had hoped that the standard spring data would be in the FSM - see if you can find it =>
Untitled Document It should be in chapter 32-250 (as it is in the W123 FSM for example) but I can't see it there. You could buy WIS for a short time if you don't get any joy - not for the year that costs a fortune - but I think you can get it for a few hours...

Depending on how low you want to go you could just install thinner spring pads. You would need to adjust the sls valve in the rear too.

Just curious as to why.
Easiest, cheapest and most effective solution.
