Well, I've been convinced and placed my order with Meguiars :-)

Can't wait to get going now - but just hoping that the sun will last long enough - oh please be another good weekend, just one more time

4NDELIT:

I once dusted my father's black metallic 996 (which I used to clean obsessively when I lived at home) and put lots of very, very fine scratches on it. They could be polished out, but required a good few hours work. I had the same experience on my silver C-Class. Now, as I say, I just rinse the car and wipe it with a synthetic wash leather; takes minutes. I usually wash the wheels with a shampoo solution and hose them off too.

I think we get a lot more dust and pollutants in our air over here. The water marks left after rain are very heavy. There are a lot of us and a lot of industries crammed on this tiny island. This is especially so in the south (I think Learoy is a southern man). I try not to venture south of the Tyne...

Well - as the sun was going down I've just finished polishing the boot and bonnet (my favourite areas) and WOW. Very impressed with Meguiars so far. Meguiars has removed the majority if not all those nasty swirl marks (care of ScratchX) and she now sports a much pronounced deeper shine.

It certainly does what it says on the tin - can't wait for the morning now to get the job finished

ESVIC that E500 looks great!
Thanks for the compliment. I also used it for my old 1987 Toyota FX-16 GTS. I used the same process..thanks again Afshins
