'92 400e Behr Radiator & Ect Sensor Questions

Problem: A slight coolant leak from the BEHR radiators plastic elbow(neck) at the top (driver side) of the radiator.

I searched and read the threads related to this topic but found nearly all threads referred to broken necks and how to repair them. Mine is not broken but is weeping slightly from the elbow where there the elbow appears to be inserted into the plastic protrusion from the radiator.

I found this fitting on FASTLANE.

Is this the correct replacement elbow?
How does one get the old elbow off? Pry it off? I am concerned about cracking the protrusion on the radiator top.

Second question is that I want to replace the ETC sensor (the one that switches the aux. fans on and off)
when I change the coolant. Does that need some kind of sealent on the threads when the new one goes in?
What is recommended?

Just updating

FYI....I bought the part listed above and it plugs right into the BEHR after taking out the old crumbling one....so I will not need to spring for a new radiator for now
