Steering wheel off centre

Fella's,
When driving straight forward, I notice that my steering wheel is turned 1-2 degrees off centre (to the left).
Does this mean that the alignment of my (front) wheels is faulty? Any other possible causes?

THANKS!

Alignment

Poor alignment job, The suggested proceedure is to "center the wheel" and then align the car to go straight by adjusting both tie rods. Mercedes shows a tool that holds the wheel in position by pushing against the upper windshield frame. Some shops find it is easier not to adjust the tie rods (if rusted) or just one.
