I would be very interested in getting a 5 or 6 speed tranny in my friend's C43. Can anyone here tell me if it's ever been done? or if it's even possible? I'm an ex 500E owner who moved to an 02 M3 and my buddy can't stand the fact that I blow his C43's doors off. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

All the money on converting would be wasted. A manny-tranny C43 would still be WAY behind the M3.

However, a Kleeman "Kompressor" kit done by Donnie and the guys would bring the C43 back to "killer" status in a big way.
