Thanks, Benzmac It seems that it all goes back to the saying that if something is too good to be true it probably is!! I paid $2000 for the car, if I add $5000 to get the engine in good shape my investment will be about average retail for the car. If anybody is interested in it for parts etc.. I will gladly deliver within a 500 mile radius of Ft. Walton Bch. Fl. and fly home!!! If I am going to put $4000-5000 in an engine I would rather find an SL (which I have always wanted) in need of engine work instead of a 4 door luxury sedan!!
