I have an 86' 190e 2.3 8v, and am trying to locate a fuel pump relay. Is it this one?

My car is a manual transmission model, do I need a FP relay without kickdown? or am I just a nut?

That is the relay & should have over-rev protection.

apologies for my naive question, I new there was no protection against engine going into very very high rev per minutes?

How can we see that there is a (over-revolution) protection.
