Unhappy power seat/steering don't work after battery swap

I changed the battery in our 95 e320 wagon. Now the steering control and the drivers power seat doesn't work. No click or anything.

However the passenger seat works fine. They use the same fuses so something else is up?

I have a schematic and I don't have any voltage at the drivers side seat control. Should I be able to read voltage off one of the pins?

Are there other relays/ modules that control the memory function of these items that would make them not work?

TIA
Alan

Do the seats work with the car off, and the door open? How about with the car on and the door closed? There's a little diode in the back of the fusebox that often goes bad. When it does, it causes all kinds of weird problems with the seat adjustment.
