Thanks to this forum I've found out how to remove the drivers' door cylinder on my 1990 300e, which is toast, just not how to make the instructions actually work!

Problem is that it's totally loose, but will not come out of the cavity, no matter the amount of coercion....the thing will not rotate the 60 deg. I've read will allow it to be rectrated, it's just not giving enough clearance to move out.

So maybe this is the problem....the key does not turn anymore, which is why I need to remove the cylinder..is this also why it wont come out?
