1992 300 m103 vacuum line/ fan shroud clip
Hi Guys,
Doing some reassembly and not sure of a vacuum connection. One comes from line off of exhaust manifold, other comes from some vacuum junction box in front of washer bottle. Do they connect together? Was going to attahc pics but they're too big. Also ,anyone have the p/n for the metal clip that holds the fan shroud to the radiator? Thanks, Jeff |

hopefully this can help you a bit, someone else may have a detailed vacuum diagram.
The line that comes off the exhaust manifold ends up at a junction by the windscreen washer fluid bottle. By the way, I noticed on your car that the coolant expansion tank overflow and radiator return hoses are in each other's 'holes'- i.e the return line is where the overflow hose should be and vis-versa. see pic.

Hi Chazola,
Thanks for your help. Wont be home till late tonite, will have to check tomorrow. From the look of your pics, I may have other vac lines mixed up. The one coming from exhaust, does it go into a tee fitting? Or are there 2 seperate lines right at the shock tensioner? And where does the other one route to? Another one in your pic- The one(blue color) near the dipstick connects to the large rubber hose on air cleaner? and comes up from under intake? Thanks for the coolant line info also. Best Rgds, Jeff |
