When my tachometer broke, my a/c no longer came on. My mechanic says there is no connection between the two, however, I have been told that an electrical change was made on the 1985 model. Unfortunately, a replacement tach costs $500, which I would not care to replace if I could make the A/C functioning properly.

Anyone out there have a suggestion. Can anyone help me out with assistance in locating a complete wiring diagram for this great automobile, a 1985 MB 300 TD Turbo.
