will not start. arghhhh.

Ok I am fooling yall because this is a Honda question. My 90' Accord EX never misses a beat. It always starts and runs like a champ.

This morning I reached to start her and my hand slipped off the key and I miss started. She only got half a lick or turn or whatever ya call it. I reached to restart and she only would crank. Crank, crank, crank, crank No start.

I had to jump in the old 240d and switch the car seat and was over an hour late opening this morning. No biggie I enjoy quick trips in the ole D.

Problem is my Honda is more suitable for my daily hiway travel so I have been hard at it trying to figure out what it is.

I pulled the main relay and changed it... No avail. That is what it was last time but that is because the car would not start when it was hot.

I fooled with that all day so I just started bangin on the dist. a little and almost outa light.

any ideas where to check next??? Thanks for the Honda answer.

Joe

Shot in the darrk, but based on the situation you describe.........

Maybe the starter solenoid gear is stuck in position on the flywheel?
