Question Dashboard Symbols

Hey All,
Here's a pretty basic and novice question. Yesterday, a light on my dash turned on, but i wasn't sure what it meant because i had lost my driver's manual. It's the one with a circle surrounded by 6 dashes - 3 on the left, 3 on the right. I think it means transmission fluid...but I'm not sure. It's between the hand brake light and the oil light.

If someone could respond quickly that'd be great and much appreciated. And it wouldn't hurt to throw in some of the other symbols.
Thanks.

I believe that's the front brake pad warning light. Time to plan a brake job.

Here's some obvious and not so obvious dash lights:

- blue light -- high beams on

- red battery -- charging system problem

- red BRAKE or circle in parentheses -- park brake engaged or low brake fluid level

- yellow oil can -- low engine oil level

- yellow radiator -- low enging coolant level

- yellow geyser -- low windshield washer fluid level

- yellow upside-down bulb -- some external bulb is out or of the wrong wattage

- yellow ABS -- ABS system problem

- red SRS -- airbag problem

- ?color? ASR -- slip control problem

- red CHECK ENGINE -- fuel injection or emission control system problem
