A/C experts chime in.....refrigerant leak issue!
So I think I finally found the leak but I'm not quite sure. I put UV dye in with my last recharge and under examination with a blacklight, I found a seal that had traces of the dye around it. When I say around it, I mean just where the two (plastic?) parts meet. Not actually on the parts, but almost filling the crease of where the two parts meet. Now my question is, is this the culprit? Can a leak this small make my ref. pressure to be at 0. I've never dealt with this type of situation before and was wondering if this sounds about right. Thanks for your help boys!!

I think you found it. If the area appears oily at that connection, this would reinforce the diagnosis. How long did it take for the refrigerant to escape? You could also verify by adding some refrigerant and throwing soapy water onto the connection looking for bubbles.
