300e Power Window Problem

I would appreciate any advice on where to start with a power window problem I have been having. The driver's side rear window on my '88 300TE will not work with the center console switch but will work with the door switch. I have tested the console switch and it works. That switch on the console does not light up even with a new switch so I assume there is no power at that switch position. Where would I start looking for a wiring problem?
Thanks!

Look for broken wires in the doors. Near the hinges??
