I am looking for advice/recommendations on car covers. The vehicle will be stored for the winter in my garage which is heated by a convective gas heater. My main concern is too keep dirt and salt dust off the finish.
Any input is most appreciated! Crew |

Just curious -
Why the cover when the car is in a heated and enclosed garage ? |

In Minnesota, the roads are literally blanketed with salt and sand at the first hint of snow. My other vehicles share the garage with the MB. The caked on snow/salt/sand that melts off the other vehicles falls to the floor of the garage. That salt and sand dust goes everywhere and the problem is exacerbated when a nuerotic chap, as myself, sweeps the floor.

Wanted to mention car covers that are made out of same material as Tyvek.
It's usually white and packaged under different brand names. I bought several mainly to provide cover from summer sun. I think they would make grear slip covers for inside the garage as well, and the cost is reasonable - around $40 at places like WalMart. |
