crank position sensor help help

Can any one tell me if the crank position sensor would affect idle and if disocnnected while engine is running what should happen also starting when disconnected???????????

Please someone

my garage has done everything except that.

The CKP (Crankshaft Position Sensor) is required for the engine to run, disconnecting it will cause the engine to die.

Can you describe the idle problem?
