126 pillar posts
earlier this year i re-covered the pillars with black vinyl fabric backed. well they were fine on the bench. so i left them in the 88 over this summer and the glue just let go. it was 3m for upholstery and head liners. the alum pillars were stripped clean, sanded and then rinsed in glue remover. the tack on initial contact was super.
so my question is in one of the past star magazines there was an ad with a vendor for repairing and new vinyl. does anybody recall what issue that may have been in?? tks for the help
