Neutral saftey switch

I need to overide my neutral safety swich till I get a chance to fix it. Any clues if I can get at it without having to lift the car way up? Thanks all who respond.....1978 300D Automatic.

Yes, you can. Left side of transmision, adjacent to shift lever. Slide under the car on your back, just behind the left front wheel. Not much room to work, though, whether the car is lifted or not.
