Hyd leak SL 500 windshield

Hello,I need help on how to get to the Hyd cylinders inside my windshield frame I remove the visible screws but I could'nt dissasemble the cover,I don't want to cause any damage to any of this parts,please help

OK, you take the rectanguler black covers off where the latches are (one screw each and they will come off), then on the outer sides, where the side window weatherstrip comes up to the top, you can gently tilt those up on each side and there is a screw under each side. When those are removed, the top panel can be carefully slid towards the back, there are clips that need to be lined up again to reinstall it, but not too difficult, just pay attention when removing it to see how it clips back in place. Also, if this is a newer SL500 (1994 I believe, or newer) there will be a wire to disconnect for a sensor on this panel you are removing, be careful or you can break this sensor, it is a proximity sensor for the roof operation. The older ones don't have this sensor, just the newer ones.
