K&N filter

I am thinking to replace air and oil filter with K&N filter (Highly performance parts)to my 89 300 ce, 120,000 miles. Any opinions? Thanks.

Stock (air at least) filters are supposed to flow plenty well and keep more dirt out.

Stick with OEM,

When we had a C230, I run a drop in K&N filter. I dont think it made a significant difference. Unless you get some kind of ram air induction, the difference wont be noticable.

-, 89 300CE, nice car, do yo u have any pics?

As there are already 14 pages of Search Hits for K&N filter . . . I think this topic has been sufficiently beaten into the ground. As with synthetic oils, types of coolant, platinum spark plugs, the tornado fuel saver . . . did I miss anything?
