I have an 84 126 model, I believe it is similar
as far as the light bulbs, you will find one for each button and one for the wheel and one for the fan switch. The radio is accessed by removing the wood dash piece, should be some screws on the bracket. If it is an after market some need a "key" to remove radio from metal frame in order to access the hooks that hold it in place. |

The metal box that holds the radio in place? Why do you want to remove that? I think you have to remove all the pieces of the center console to get to that bracket.
AFAIK there are 2 bulbs for the 5 middle buttons of the ACC. There is a prism arrangement that distributes light to each button. Pressing a button puts it in place to receive more light. I don't recall if there's are separate bulbs for the fan buttons and thumbwheel or more prisms. I'll have my ACC unit out this weekend for service. Send me a direct email or private message if you're still interested. Sixto 95 S420 87 300SDL |

I get it now. You're talking about a metal sleeve in place to hold an aftermarket stereo. Usually those sleeves are held in place by bending tabs outwards. Usually a couple of tabs bent up on the top surface of the sleeve and a couple of tabs bent down on the bottom surface of the sleeve.
