300 sl over heat

Hi there my 300 sl over heat when the engine running on park but it go to normal when Im driving I change the thermostat but still the same
please help

overheat

sounds like the visco fan clutch is not working and or the auxillary fans are not coming on.

haw I could find out if the auxilary fans coming on or the fan clutch
