Lubricating window switches

I have cleaned many a window switch for family and friend. I noticed, while using a new OEM switch, the other day, was that its action was quiet and smooth. Should I be greasing up these switches with Vasoline after I clean them?

What is the accepted standard in grease for these switches? Is it hard to find?

Thanks, in advance.

I've been using dielectric grease for some time now. I think it's Permatex. Should be available at your local auto parts store.
