Heat and AC problems 1995 s-class

I would appreciate any help I can get, I have two problems , lets start with the heat as we are comming into the cold weather, no air is blowing through the vents front or side at whatever speed i put the blower at. I can hear the blower going stronger on max setting but no air flow out the vents, only very slight out the side vents and it is hot. The rear seat center vent has great air flow but is comming out at regular outside temperature not hot. Guess I may have two seperate problems here.

Now for the AC I have tried the stop leak and it just blows through in 1/2 hour and holds nothing, I only tried the cheap stop leak a few times and many cans hope I didnt make the system worse. ANd can see no die where it is leaking, should I try the more expensive stop leak? Is it my evaporator, I have no idea if it has been replaced?

Appreciate any thoughts.

Have a look at this fellas site.

As far as the a/c goes you have a serious leak, probably needs a new evaporator.

For heat problem - see if you can get air flow in RECIRC mode. I had same problem and found linkage disconnected on the fresh air flap under the cover in the engine compartment. So with both fresh air and recirc flaps closed - no air flow.

Question

thanks for the replys,
The heat problem, it makes no difference if it is on recirulate or not, I only get air flow when the temp is set low (lower part of the white area or blue), if it is on a higher heat (red area) the air flow stops??? I can hear the blower going but no air flow throw the vents, it will blow strong through the defroster though.

As far as the ac goes when I used a seal/leak detector it did not seal and all escaped very quickly. Would one of the more expensive sealer work better or are they all lacking? Also how can I tell for sure if it is the evaporator? I do not see any sign of the leakwith or without a light.
