Eibach vs Sportline swaybar specs please
I have used Eibach swaybars and springs, and Koni yellow dampers on my 1993 300D w124 for about 90,000 miles. The Konis are shot, so I replaced them this week with Bilstein sports. Also, the swaybar bracket on one side was broken clean!
I have fixed it, but now I am debating on replacing the Eibach front swaybar. The rear is not much bigger than the stock unit, but the front is huge! I really think it is too thick; its too hard on the components of the suspension, and the ride VERY harsh. Can anyone tell me the actual diameter of the sportline bar? Is it bigger than the stock bar, or are the sportline bushings the only difference? If the sportline bar is bigger than stock, but smaller than the porky Eibach bar (im sure it is), then I want to change it. Thanks |

welcome to mercedesshop.
changing bars is definetly worth it. there is a 'search' feature here...try it out. sportline has been greatly discussed here, maybe as much as euro-lights http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/search.php?searchid=96043 again welcome peter
