'94 E320 Heater only blows on right side vent

The heater only blows through the pass side vent and not the driver's side vent nor the middle vents no matter what position I have the climate control on. Is this a known problem? Anyone have experience with this problem? Thanks.

It's not the heat per se, it's the air coming through the vent...only blowing through the pass side vent.

Is there a tube or duct dislocated that I have to re-attach?

No heat to center vents

I don't believe that heat will ever come out of the center vents - just the driver's and passenger sides to defrost the windows, and of course the floor and defrost vents.

The Germans are weird with their climate controls. My old BMWs (635, 735) would allow for cool air to vent through the center vents, but never warm air, even if the heat was turned on max. The owner's manual said that this was to allow for cool air on the driver's face to keep him/her awake.

Y2kimmel is correct about no heat from the center vents. But you should have heat from both the left and right side vents. Probably one of the vacuum pods has gone south. You can search the board on vacuum pods, but you might be looking at a dash remove job. Not sure if you can access the driver's side from underneath.

Good luck,
Chris W.
